The Home Buddy Adoption Project is one of our newest and most innovative giving options. The ET Home Buddy project allows donors to adopt an elderly person living in an ET cottage at the low cost of $750 per year. Home Buddy adoption funds are used to assist UMRC with the maintainence and insurance of the unit. With each Home Buddy adoption, the donor receives a biographical sketch of their “Buddy,” as well as a picture (if available). The donor may contact their Buddy if they choose. Many of our adoptees have established great relationships. Some even exchange birthday cards and talk on the phone regularly!
